Michael Groves

Senior Architect

Michael graduated from the Manchester School of Architecture in 2011, specialising in contemporary architectural solutions within challenging, historic contexts. Michael has gained experience working at a number of architectural practices in both London and Manchester on projects from Feasibility to Construction.  Prior to joining UNIT Architects in December 2016, he worked at LTS Architects for 5 years.Some of Michael’s key projects includes; the delivery of a new 99-room hotel and refurbishment of a listed building in the heart of Southwark’s Borough High Street Conservation Area, an award-winning Hindu Temple and Community Hall in North-West London, as well as contributing to the development of a 25 unit residential scheme in Golders Green on the former Temple site. Michael has also gained experience in the higher education sector, working on projects for Harper Adams University and latterly a new student’s union and bar for King’s College London.At UNIT, Michael aims to further develop his design skills within the residential sector, working on small, medium and large scale residential developments.
